War 2 Advance Booking Day 1 Report: Hrithik Roshan & Jr NTR Star Power Drives Unbelievable Demand

War 2 1st Day Advance Booking Gross

The buzz is real. By the looks of the pre-sales, War 2 is setting itself up for a smashing opening day.  According to sacnilk, without counting block seats, the film has already pulled in ₹4.19 crore from bookings across India. With block seats included, that number nearly doubles to a thumping ₹8.65 crore. Not bad for a film that’s still a day away from release.

Here’s the quick lowdown:

  • Hindi 2D is king. Alone, it’s raked in a massive ₹3.28 crore from 1,00,152 tickets, that’s already a mini-release worth of audience.

  • Telugu market is surprisingly strong for a pan-India Hindi biggie: ₹43.45 lakh, almost touching 18K tickets in 2D itself.

  • Tamil 2D chips in with ₹7.01 lakh, which is no joke considering the language split.

  • Premium formats are buzzing:

    • Hindi IMAX 2D - ₹33.07 lakh (the big screen crowd wants Hrithik in giant size).

    • Hindi 4DX - ₹6.39 lakh (because why not feel the explosions in your bones?).

    • Smaller formats like ICE and Dolby Cinema aren’t huge, but they add personality to the tally.

In all formats and languages, we’re looking at 1.28 lakh tickets moved already. That’s a mini-festival mood, except without the laddoos… yet. If block seats convert well, tomorrow could see shows filling at an alarming speed. According to Film Trackers on Twitter, War 2 has already crossed the 150,000 ticket sales mark on BookMyShow, signaling strong early demand ahead of its release.

State-by-state, the picture’s a mixed bag. Some places are going all out… others are still waking up. With block seats in, the hottest pockets are starting to show, and you can tell which fan bases have been counting the days.

According to sacnilk: A few highlights (and lowlights):

  • Delhi – ₹67.5 lakh real; ₹1.45 crore with block seats. Occupancy? Just 4% for now — clearly, most capital moviegoers are last-minute warriors.

  • Maharashtra – ₹86.92 lakh without block seats; the ₹1.75 crore mark with them. But still only 4% occupancy. Plenty of tickets sold, but not crammed halls yet.

  • Tamil Nadu – 18% real occupancy! ₹23.63 lakh actual gross, ₹49.82 lakh with block seats. The south fan energy is chef’s kiss.

  • Andhra Pradesh & Telangana – AP itself at ₹7.76 lakh real, ₹11.1 lakh with blocks. In Telugu states, multiplex chains are betting on last-minute boosts.

  • West Bengal – ₹38.09 lakh real, ₹64.46 lakh block seats included, with a strong 16% occupancy. Kolkata loves its action flicks.

Some smaller notes that:

  • Assam is quiet at ₹6.38 lakh but has 11% occupancy. That’s more packed than Mumbai on pre-booking day.

  • Kerala is sitting at ₹4.81 lakh real, but has only 3% occupancy. Guess the rain is competing for attention.

  • Punjab? ₹6.21 lakh real and flat 2% occupancy. The market is saving energy or just waiting for word of mouth.

In short, the metros are selling big numbers but low actual seat fill. The South and East have pockets with higher occupancy, which often means more ‘energy in the hall’ when the first show plays. And from history, that often sets the tone for the weekend word-of-mouth wave.
