Who went Home on Amazing Race Tonight?

The episode took place in Milan in Italy. Teams flew in from Athens and most pairs made it onto the first flight that landed early. Kyland and Taylor had to take a later flight so they started the day already behind the others. Jack and Chelsie were on the earlier plane so they had a real chance to stay safe this leg.
Once in Italy teams had to drive themselves to the first task. That was a Roadblock where one person had to build a dress made of real flowers for a fashion style challenge. The dress needed to match a model look so it took time and focus. Jack handled this Roadblock for his team. He had trouble with the details and needed several checks so they left the area behind most of the pack.
After the floral dress task the race sent teams to another town for the second Roadblock. This one asked racers to assemble a replica of a tower then ride on a moving setup and use a long stick to grab four rings. It mixed puzzle work with a physical jousting style job. Jack and Chelsie lost even more time before this second Roadblock because they kept getting lost while driving and even looped back near the first challenge.
Other teams were not perfect either. The episode showed Adam struggling with heat and blood sugar in the first Roadblock but he pushed through and later used the second Roadblock to redeem himself. Izzy and Paige had issues nailing the ring part but got it on a later attempt. That kept them near the front group. Kyland and Taylor had their own stress with the tower and rings as Taylor grew frustrated while waiting for Kyland to finish.
The final task of the leg was a puzzle focused Detour style challenge with a self supporting wooden bridge. Teams had to fit pieces together so the structure could stand on its own without nails or rope. When it locked in place they received the last clue that sent them to the Pit Stop. Jas and Jag handled this quickly so they reached the mat first again and each won a cash prize for the leg.
Behind them Izzy and Paige checked in second while Joseph and Adam finished third after a strong recovery from their early trouble. The real fight was between Kyland and Taylor and Jack and Chelsie. Both teams were building the bridge late in the day with the sun and pressure wearing them down. Jack and Chelsie had their bridge collapse which forced them to start over. That mistake cost them minutes they could not afford to lose.
Kyland and Taylor got their bridge approved first and raced off to the Pit Stop. They arrived in fourth place and kept their spot in the competition even after starting on the later flight. Jack and Chelsie finished their second attempt and hurried to the mat but arrived last. Phil told them they had been eliminated from the race.
Jack and Chelsie had a clear story all season. They often fought with directions and navigation yet still found ways to survive legs and stay in the middle of the standings. In this episode those same navigation issues finally caught up with them. The time they lost on the roads plus the failed bridge build made it too hard to catch the others.
With Jack and Chelsie gone four teams are still in the game. Jas and Jag lead the way after another first place finish. Izzy and Paige sit close behind while Joseph and Adam and then Kyland and Taylor round out the group heading into the next leg.
