Who Went Home on 'The Road' Tonight?
Britnee Kellogg was the only artist eliminated in the semifinals. She is 40 years old and comes from Anthem, Arizona.

She had been on the show for nine weeks before this result. Her exit came after audience votes placed her at the bottom for the night.
The Road tour bus stopped in Nashville for this round of the competition. The four remaining artists were Britnee Kellogg, Adam Sanders, Cassidy Daniels, and Channing Wilson.
First, they played a set at the Bluebird Cafe with Keith Urban. Then they moved to Marathon Music Works for the main concert where they each performed two solo songs.
There was also a duet twist for this episode. Adam sang a duet with Britnee while Channing paired up with Cassidy for a second duet performance.
Who Judged the Performances?
Blake Shelton could not attend the show again this week. So guest judges filled in on the panel along with the regular faces from the series.
Keith Urban was there to guide and judge the artists on stage. The Osborne Brothers joined him, along with tour manager Gretchen Wilson, to give feedback on each song.
Keith said this night was the best he had seen all four artists perform so far. He praised both their original songs and their cover choices in his comments.
How the vote worked?
Audience members at the Nashville show voted after the performances. Their votes decided both the finalists and the artist who had to leave.
Once the votes were counted, Adam, Cassidy, and Channing were named as the top three. That meant Britnee finished last in the vote and had to go home.
Keith pointed out that Nashville crowds can be very demanding. He said the high standards in that room showed up in how the voting turned out.
What the finalists get?
The prize for winning The Road is a big step for a country artist. The winner earns a performance slot at Stagecoach, plus a recording contract and a quarter million dollars in prize money.
Adam Sanders from Lake City in Florida advanced to the finale. Cassidy Daniels from Marion in North Carolina also moved on.
Channing Wilson from Lafayette in Georgia took the final spot in the top three. These three now have one more shot to perform for that grand prize.
Britnee’s reaction and next steps
After hearing the result, Britnee talked about what the show meant to her. She called the experience life changing and said it had been incredible for her career and her life.
She also spoke about being a 40 year old artist who sees this as a rare chance. Even so, she said she plans to keep playing shows, keep being a mother, and keep inspiring other moms to follow their own dreams.
Keith told her that surviving nine weeks on The Road already put her in front of many new fans. He said her name is now known by far more people than before the tour began.
