Who Went Home Tonight on Dancing with the Stars Tonight

No one went home tonight, and honestly, it felt right. Week 5 of Dancing with the Stars (aired October 14, 2025) turned out to be one of those rare, heart‑warming nights when competition took a back seat to pure emotion. In a surprise twist, host Alfonso Ribeiro told the anxious dancers, “All of you are safe tonight,” right after teasing the usual tense elimination moment.​

The crowd cheered, and you could just see every contestant’s shoulders drop with relief. Dedication Night had everyone wiping away tears, not scoreboard‑watching. Each performance was a personal tribute to parents, siblings, mentors, kids, and cohost Julianne Hough explained it best: “We couldn’t possibly send anyone home on such a meaningful night.” And honestly, she was right. After watching those dances, it felt impossible to pick just one to cut.

Andy Richter even cracked a joke at the end, saying, “Great, I can’t wait to wear green next week,” nodding to the upcoming Wicked Night theme. A classic Andy way to wrap a night that otherwise had people choking up.​

Dancing with the Stars Week 5 Scores

Even though no one was eliminated, the judges still handed out scores,  and some of the numbers were seriously impressive. Dylan Efron stole the show with a 36 out of 40, his highest of the season so far, dedicating his elegant contemporary to his five‑year‑old sister Olivia. You could see the emotion in every move; Carrie Ann Inaba even said, “You made my night.”

Dancing with the Stars Results Tonight

So, technically, everyone’s still dancing,  but the results still matter. All of tonight’s scores will carry over to Week 6, which means this week’s leniency could lead to an even tougher cut next week.​

Front‑runners like Dylan Efron and Robert Irwin have now built a solid cushion, but the bottom tier has no such luck. Andy Richter, sitting low on the leaderboard with 24 points, will almost certainly need a comeback performance. The combined pressure of tonight’s rolled‑over scores and audience votes is going to turn next Tuesday into one nail‑biter of an episode.

Dancing with the Stars Dedication Night

Dedication Night has easily been one of the most emotional themes the show’s delivered in years. Each dance told a story not just with steps but with tears, laughs, and the kind of honesty that makes you forget there’s a trophy at the end of this thing. Alix Earle’s tribute to her little sister Izabel was especially moving; she spoke in rehearsals about how her sister changed her idea of family after her parents’ divorce. When she finished, you could see others in the audience dabbing at their eyes, not just for her, but for whoever they were thinking of in their own lives.​

Robert Irwin’s performance for his mom, Terri, was another highlight. The camera even caught her tearing up in the front row, proud as ever. And Elaine Hendrix, dedicating her foxtrot to her longtime friend Lisa Ann Walter, called the night “a dream realized.”

There was something deeply human about this episode, less about competition, more about connection. By the time the final confetti fell and everyone realized they were safe, it didn’t feel like a dodge. It felt like a gift.
