Cody Johnson canceled his concert because he ruptured his eardrum. He shared this news with fans on October 7, 2025. Cody had been sick with a serious respiratory and sinus infection. While performing and recovering from that, his eardrum burst.
He needs immediate surgery. Doctors told him the injury is severe and singing during recovery is not possible. If Cody skips the surgery, he risks longer damage. The rest and recovery will take weeks. So he won’t be able to perform the rest of the tour or sing for a while.
