They picked countries like Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Peru, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, Uruguay, and Vietnam for lower pricing. This price drop is about one-third less in India, Indonesia, and a few other places. In Thailand and some Latin countries, the cut is closer to one-fifth off.
This move is getting attention because big games don’t often do true regional pricing. Usually, PC and console stores just swap currencies using old rates, but real local costs can end up much higher. Arc Raiders’ publisher did it differently this time. They set the amount directly for each region. So, it’s not just a currency conversion. It’s cheaper where people earn less.
