Assetto Corsa Rally Early Access: Release Date, Features & Cars Revealed

Assetto Corsa Rally Early Access

Assetto Corsa Rally is headed for Steam Early Access on November 13, and honestly, that kind of came outta nowhere like one of those surprise hairpins midway through a stage when you’re still fiddling with your wipers. For years, fans have been pestering Kunos Simulazioni “Hey, what if Assetto Corsa did rally?” Turns out, the answer’s arrived, just not from Kunos themselves. This time, it’s Supernova Games Studios at the wheel (with a little guidance from the Kunos crew, who know a thing or two about simulation magic). On X, @AC_assettocorsa announced Assetto Corsa Rally, developed by Supernova Game Studios in partnership with Kunos Simulazioni, with Early Access starting November 13th, 2025—wishlist now on Steam.

What’s the big deal? Assetto Corsa Rally isn’t just more Assetto on dirt. Under the hood, they’ve stuck with the hardcore AC physics engine, but they’ve teamed it up with Unreal Engine 5 for a shiny new look and then sprinkled a ridiculous level of detail on top.

Every rally stage, whether it’s crispy tarmac in Alsace or dodgy gravel in Wales, is laser-scanned; not just the tracks but the cars, too! Seriously. That means the surface you’re slipping and sliding on is rendered down to the last stray pebble, while your car crunches and bends with an “advanced damage system” you’ll probably wish was less, well, advanced next time you grind a corner.

And they’re not messing about with the cars either. Classic beasts like the Lancia Fulvia and Delta HF Integrale are confirmed, with ten cars in Early Access spanning everything from OG WRC glory days to modern Rally2 monsters. That number’s gonna balloon to 30 for full launch, covering 50 years of rally icons. And have you heard about the weather? Temperature, humidity, and puddles all actually matter. No more “just for show” rain. Finally, five game modes for Early Access, with more coming (yep, including VR, eventually).

So yeah, if you’ve ever wanted Assetto’s signature realism, but with dust, pacenotes, and a co-driver who’s probably disappointed in you, November 13 is your date. Time to wishlist it or, you know, just stare longingly at the Steam page like the rest of us.
