Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition Upgrade
The upgrade is mainly for people who already own the base game on PC. You get all six official expansions wrapped in. Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka World, Wasteland Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, and Vault Tec Workshop are all included.
Beyond that, you get more than 150 Creation Club items. These include new weapons like the Institute Plasma Weapons and Ion Gun. There are power armor sets, building packs, and even new looks for Dogmeat. Nine brand new creations debuted with this release, including Bunker Home Pack, Cyber Dog, and Railroad's Clandestine Couture.

The upgrade also brings a new Creations menu that makes finding and downloading content much easier.
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition Price
If you already own Fallout 4, the upgrade costs $39.99. This gets you the DLCs and all the Creation Club material.
New players pay $59.99 for the full Anniversary Edition. That includes the base game, all expansions, and the 150+ creations.
There's also a cheaper option. If you already have the DLCs, you can grab just the Creations Bundle for $19.99. Some fans think the pricing is steep compared to Skyrim Anniversary Edition.
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition Release Date
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition launched on November 10, 2025. That's exactly 10 years after the original game came out.
It released on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S . Steam unlocked at 11:05 AM EST on November 10 . PlayStation versions went live slightly earlier .
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition Graphics Update
The Anniversary Edition doesn't include major visual overhauls. This isn't a full graphics remaster.
What it does bring are performance and technical fixes. VATS accuracy got corrected across all platforms. You can't target enemies through walls anymore without the Penetrator perk.
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles now run the game at 60fps. There are performance and quality modes to choose from. Ultrawide monitor support improved significantly with proper UI scaling for 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios. Crafting stations no longer crash on ultrawide displays.
The update also fixed NPC visual stuttering and improved stability during Bethesda.net outages.
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition PS4
On PlayStation 4, the Anniversary Edition runs at 1080p and 30fps. The base PS4 maintains this frame rate most of the time, except in heavy combat scenes around downtown Boston.
All the content from the Anniversary Edition works on PS4. You get the same six expansions and 150+ Creation Club items as other platforms.
Performance on PS4 stays consistent with previous versions. The major 60fps boost only applies to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition Switch 2
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. Bethesda confirmed this during their Fallout Day broadcast on October 23, 2025.
This marks the first time any Fallout 4 version appears on a Nintendo console. The Switch 2 version includes the base game, all six official add-ons, and the 150+ Creation Club items.
No specific release date was announced beyond 2026. Fans are hoping for a Q1 2026 launch.
