FFXIV Maintenance
On August 13–14, 2025, players on all Elemental Data Centre Worlds experienced disconnections from certain instanced content due to a server issue. The problem began on August 13 at 19:15 GMT (20:15 BST) and August 14 at 5:15 AEST. Square Enix confirmed the cause and worked to restore normal service as quickly as possible.
FINAL FANTASY XIV News (@FFXIV_NEWS_EN) reported on Twitter that recovery efforts are underway for the [Elemental] EU servers following technical difficulties affecting instanced areas on August 13 and 14.
FFXIV Server Status
At the time of the maintenance, all the servers will be down. Well, the issue has since been resolved. All Elemental Data Centre Worlds are now operating normally, and players can access instanced content without further disconnections.
When Will the Maintenance End?
The technical difficulties were fixed on August 13, 2025, at 19:15 GMT, which is 20:15 BST and 5:15 AEST on August 14. The team apologised for the disruption and thanked players for their patience.
