King of the Hill Season 14: Premiere Date, Streaming Details & What to Expect
After a 15-year absence, the beloved animated comedy “King of the Hill” is set to return with its much-anticipated fourteenth season. The revival premieres August 4, 2025, exclusively on Hulu in the US and Disney+ via the Hulu hub for international viewers. All ten episodes will be released at once, allowing fans to binge-watch the latest chapter of the Hill family saga.
On Instagram, the official King of the Hill account teased, “An all-new season of #KingOfTheHill drops Aug 4th on Hulu,” with the cast tagged in a behind-the-scenes shot.

The new season finds Hank and Peggy Hill moving back to Arlen after years abroad, only to discover their Texas hometown has changed. Their son Bobby, now 21, is building a career as a chef in Dallas, while classic favorites like Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill remain close by. The series promises a mix of nostalgia and new satire, tackling topics from digital culture and climate change to evolving social dynamics—all while keeping the show’s signature grounded wit.
On Twitter, the official page echoed the excitement: “You waited 15 years for the King to return. Watch an all-new season of #KingOfTheHill, August 4. Streaming on Hulu and with #HuluOnDisneyPlus.” Fans have been sharing clips from the official trailer, which highlights the show’s updated intro featuring Bobby as an adult.
The cast returned to San Diego Comic-Con for the first time in years, greeted by loyal fans and cosplayers. Pamela Adlon (voice of Bobby) remarked that Comic-Con energy “is very much a part of [Bobby’s] DNA,” while Toby Huss (Kahn, Cotton) credited fans for the show’s enduring popularity and the revival itself.
Viewers can stream every episode of the original series as well as Season 14 on Hulu in the US and internationally through Disney+, where it is featured as a Star Original in some regions. The series was created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, both returning for the new season alongside a mix of legacy and new cast members.
At #SDCC, an Instagram reel captured the excitement as the voice cast talked about fandom, the challenge of cosplay, and what Hank might think about it all: “Hank might be confused by the capes, but the fans aren’t!”.

Season 14 will also serve as the final performances for Johnny Hardwick and Jonathan Joss, longtime voices for Dale and John Redcorn, who have both passed away. The show honors their contributions with completed episodes and tributes throughout the season.
In May, the official Instagram reminded fans: “I’ll tell you what. The King is returning soon, on Hulu and #HuluOnDisneyPlus.”
