Perrie Edwards’ Debut Album ‘Perrie’ Drops September 26, 2025

Perrie Solo Album Release Date

Perrie Edwards’ debut solo album – named, simply, “Perrie” – drops September 26, 2025. That probably explains the burst of excitement all over social media lately, especially if you’re one of the patient Little Mix fans who’ve cheered her on through endless teases, cryptic Instagram stories (“music pending…” at one point, which made me check her stories every morning for weeks), and more than a few heartbreaks about it taking so long. Personally, I can’t decide if the delay makes it feel more precious, or just more overdue.

Funny story – she first announced the date and title on August 22, barely a month before release. The announcement itself felt pretty human; she posted “I can’t believe this day has arrived! It feels like a dream. My debut album ‘Perrie’ will be all yours on the 26th September!” A refreshingly non-dramatic way to break big news in a world where albums sometimes come with cinematic trailers or hour-long livestream puzzles. It’s kind of nice that she just said what’s coming, with a little glee (and not a single “IT’S COMING…SOON” cliffhanger).

How did we get here, though? It’s been a wild ride. Perrie recorded, scrapped, then totally re-made her debut – a process she opened up about recently. At one point last year, she almost dropped the album, but then took a step back, admitted in interviews she “wasn’t happy” with the direction, and pressed pause. Honestly, that candor is part of why her fans stick around. Her therapist apparently told her to just stop if she wasn’t happy. So she did. Then she went back, rewrote, and made a record that’s truly hers.

Along the way, she’s sprinkled in singles like “Forget About Us” (with major Ed Sheeran co-writing cred), “Tears,” and “If He Wanted To He Would” – the latter just dropped August 22 and features a music video with rom-com nods and a cameo from songwriter Nina Nesbitt. That’s a lot of pop power for one album cycle. Is anyone else slightly obsessed with the idea that her son Axel’s heartbeat even made it onto one of the tracks? That’s either eccentric artistry or major mom energy, and I love it.
