Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse launches on March 5, 2026. The game comes to PS5 and PS4 first. Pre-orders opened on November 11, 2025.

What Platforms Get It
PlayStation consoles aren't the only option. The game also releases on Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on the same date. The standard edition costs $16.99. A bundle with the official soundtrack runs $20.

What Makes This Game Different?
You don't play as the witch. You play as her cursed hat. The hat can possess defeated enemies. Each possessed enemy gives you different abilities. You'll need these powers to fight, solve puzzles, and explore.
The game mixes roguelike action with exploration platformer elements. Dungeons change every time you play.
Progression and Building
Two systems handle character growth. The skill tree lets you permanently upgrade stats using materials from dungeons and your village. Equipment drops during runs let you experiment with different builds.
You can focus on brute force combat, magic abilities, or exploration. The developers say some internal testers found surprising ways to clear dungeons they never expected.
Multiplayer Support

The Story Setup
A young witch loses her soul to the Ancient Witch. She's cursed to wander forever, unable to die. Your job as the sentient hat is to break the curse and get her soul back.
Boss Fights and Challenges
Each dungeon ends with a tough boss. You'll face a colossal golem shooting lasers, a guardian summoning storms, and a volcano lord controlling lava. Learning enemy patterns and using the possession system smartly will be key to winning.
The developers from Frontside 180 Studio are finishing up the final stages of development now. They promise more updates before the March 2026 launch.
