The long-rumored Nintendo Direct for July 2025 is official now. Nintendo came out just a day before and confirmed the showcase is happening Thursday, July 31, 2025. It’s a Partner Showcase this round, but still, 25 minutes packed with third-party new stuff for the Switch 2 and the first Switch.
On Twitter, @Nintendeal announces a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase scheduled for July 31 at 6 am PT.

The start time is 6:00 AM PT, 9:00 AM ET, or 2:00 PM in the U.K. That’s kind of brutal if you’re on the west coast of the US—gotta set multiple alarms or just power through an all-nighter. Instagram’s flooded with memes about “Nintendo Direct grind,” gamers joking about sleep schedules getting wrecked for Nintendo reveals.
