REDMI Note 15 5G Launch Date
Xiaomi has officially announced that REDMI Note 15 5G will launch in India on 6 January 2026. The phone has already been revealed in China and is now coming to the Indian market with some changes for local buyers.
The launch event will focus on its camera upgrades and AMOLED screen. Sales are expected through online platforms and offline retail stores soon after the event in early January.
REDMI Note 15 5G Price leaks
Multiple leaks suggest the REDMI Note 15 5G India price will start at around Rs 22,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. The higher 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model is tipped to cost about Rs 24,999.
These prices place it slightly above the starting price of the Redmi Note 14 5G which launched in the sub Rs 20,000 bracket in India.
The higher price lines up with the improved camera chipset and display features on the new model.
REDMI Note 15 5G Specification
REDMI Note 15 5G is expected to feature a 6.77 inch or 6.83 inch AMOLED display with Full HD Plus resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
This is an upgrade over the LCD screen used on the Redmi Note 14 5G which did not offer the same contrast or color depth.
The phone is confirmed to run on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or 6s Gen 3 chipset with claimed CPU and GPU gains over the previous generation platform used in the Note 14 series.
This should give better gaming and multitasking performance along with more efficient power use.
On the camera side REDMI Note 15 5G will ship with a 108MP main rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation and 4K video support.
The Redmi Note 14 5G came with a lower resolution main sensor so the new phone aims to offer sharper photos and more stable low light shots.
Battery capacity is listed around 5,520mAh with 45W fast charging for REDMI Note 15 5G.
This is a modest bump compared to the Note 14 5G battery and should comfortably handle a full day of mixed use with the new chipset and AMOLED screen.
The phone is expected to run Android 15 with HyperOS out of the box and will include features like in display fingerprint sensor stereo speakers and an IR blaster.
Overall it looks like a more premium step up from the Redmi Note 14 5G especially for users who care about camera quality display and long term software support.
