The Fantastic Four: First Steps is finally gearing up for its OTT premiere on Disney+ (and on Disney+ Hotstar for Indian viewers) between late October and mid-November 2025. After months of buzz, box office success, and fans who skipped theaters can soon press play from their couch. Honestly, that’s a relief who haven’t been dodging spoilers like it’s dodgeball at this point?
The film first hit cinemas on July 25, 2025, then went digital on September 23, followed by a shiny Blu-ray and 4K release on October 14. Marvel’s release patterns suggest streaming follows about 15–29 days later, meaning we’re likely looking at October 29 or November 12 as the big drop date.
The Hype (and the Wait)
So yes, the wait is nearly over, but this has been quite the ride. Directed by Matt Shakman, with Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, the film dives into a 1960s-inspired retro universe that somehow feels as futuristic as ever. It’s not an origin story this time no radioactive accidents or shuttle crashes, just the team already in their groove, facing off against the planet-eating Galactus. Classic but fresh.
I watched it opening weekend in late July, and let’s say the audience lost it when the Silver Surfer appeared. The old man sitting next to me actually fist-pumped the air. That’s how you know Marvel’s still got it.
