They’ve been together a little over four years, after meeting through a mutual friend they’d both known for over a decade. Their first date in Atlanta involved espresso martinis and breakfast-for-dinner, not exactly a grand gesture, but clearly something clicked. The proposal happened on Valentine’s Day this year, though Carmen wasn’t expecting it. Mason chose a lake near their Atlanta neighborhood, a spot they often visited.
To keep her guessing, he even set up fake dinner plans at one of their favorite restaurants, then instead surprised her with the lakeside moment.
After she said yes, they drove to North Georgia for a night at Chateau Elan and a spa day. When they came home, family and friends (plus their cat, Willow) were waiting to celebrate, and even Mason’s parents had driven in from Oklahoma.
Now they're planning their wedding for June 7, 2026, just after the five-year mark in their relationship. The venue: Cape Cod’s Wychmere Beach Club, the same area where they took their engagement photos earlier this year. Carmen says they wanted somewhere coastal, romantic, and worth the trip for friends and family flying in from all over.
The engagement news dropped the same day Dye landed a series regular role in The Boys prequel Vought Rising, filming later this month — a busy stretch for him, to say the least.
