Who Is Bhagyashri Borse, The Star of Kingdom? Know Everything about Kingdom Movie Actress

Who Is Bhagyashri Borse? From Aurangabad to Tollywood

Bhagyashri Borse’s story doesn’t play out like the stereotypical film breakthrough. Born in Aurangabad in 1999, she spent her childhood in Lagos, South Africa, thanks to her dad’s work. Later on, she made her way back to Mumbai to finish school, where she ended up chasing a business degree—yeah, not immediately the filmi route you’d expect. Eventually, she kicked off a modeling career, got some ad projects in the bag, and pretty soon she was aiming for the silver screen.

Instagram really feels like her diary—just scroll and you’ll come across her latest, “a lil bit of magic.. & a whole lot of love ☆” post.

Screen Debut: Not Your Usual Bollywood Intro

Before you starred her with Vijay Deverakonda, Bhagyashri attempted a big break with a role in “Yaariyan 2” (2023). Audiences, honestly, didn’t give the film glowing reviews, but Bhagyashri—she got noticed. Her role as Raajlaxmi Cariappa gave movie fans a taste of her screen presence. Next, she picked up a part alongside Kartik Aaryan in “Chandu Champion” (2024), trying her hand at something more mainstream Hindi.

First Steps in Telugu Cinema

For many, her actual stamp onto Tollywood came in 2024, when she was cast in “Mr. Bachchan” opposite Ravi Teja—a film that might not have set the box office on fire but definitely made Bhagyashri a talking point. It was a remake of Ajay Devgn’s “Raid,” and while the movie flopped hard, her bold screen presence got plenty of buzz. You gotta admire how she stays in the news even if the movie tanks.

Kingdom: Her Gamechanger

That brings us to “Kingdom.” Ask any Vijay Deverakonda fan, the film’s spy-thriller vibe is a wild ride—a cop (Vijay) heading out to rescue his brother in Sri Lanka, all sorts of action, suspense, and yes, Bhagyashri right at the heart of it with a “meaty” role, not just a stock heroine gig.

The director, Gowtam Tinnanuri (of “Jersey” fame), seems to have faith in her. Rumor goes, she adds real depth to the plot. Look, the movie’s got Satyadev, great music by Anirudh Ravichander, and with Kingdom dropping July 31, it’s filling up halls already.
