BHEL Recruitment 2012 – Apply Online for 500 Engineer Trainees Posts: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is hiring personnel for 500 Engineer Trainees posts in disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Selections would be on the basis of score obtained in GATE 2013. Graduate Engineers may apply online for GATE 2013 on or before 30-09-2012 and for BHEL from January 2013. BHEL Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Posts: 500
Name of Post: Engineer Trainees
Names of Disciplines:
1. Mechanical – 300 vacancies
2. Electrical – 150 vacancies
3. Electronics – 50 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must not be above 27 years. Crucial Date for determining age limit would be 01-08-2013. Relaxations in upper age limit would be extended to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Graduate Degree in concerned discipline of Engineering or equivalent from recognized university. For more details refer to the notification.
Application Fee Details: General and OBC candidates are required to make a payment of Rs. 100/- as processing fee. The details on the mode of payment will be made available during January, 2013.
Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of score obtained in GATE 2013 followed by Personal Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates who possess the required qualification in relevant discipline need to apply for GATE 2013 on or before 30-09-2012. Thereafter candidates can apply online for the Engineer Trainees posts in BHEL in desired discipline from January 2013 through BHEL website www.careers.bhel.in. After submission of online application candidates must take print out of application and retain it for further use.

on submission of online application, the system will generate an acknowledge slip having an unique acknowlegement number, candidates are required to take print out of the acknowledge slip, affix a copy of the same photograph used for gate-2012, sign at the space provided and send it to BHEL along with challan of Rs.100/-

As per the notification, the candidates who possess Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Technology OR 5 years integrated Masters Degree or Dual Degree programme in engineering or technology in the disciplines of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering from recognized by UPSC/AICTE are eligible to apply the vacancy.

As per the notification, the candidates currently in the final year of their engineering studies may also apply, if they selected they must be in a position to submit their final mark sheet by 20th August 2012.
