Constable
For male candidates:3726.
For female candidate : 2000.
Age limit: Candidate should have age in between18 to 25 years, as on 01-01-2011
Educational qualification: Candidate who passed 10+2 (or) equivalent in any discipline or equivalent.
Application fee: Eligible candidates drawn demand draft of 100 as application fee in favour of “chairman, district Recruitment Board (……) (name of the district for which the application applies) payable at …… (District name) for male candidates & chairman-cum-IGP Zone recruitment board for female constable 2011 payable at (….) (zone name) for female candidates.
Selection: The selection process is based on physical measurement, physical efficiency test, and interview.
How to apply: The following are details for applying for male & female candidates
For male candidates: candidates have to download application from the website www.punjabpolice.in. send the filled applications on or before17-10-2011 along with DD & other relevant doacuments to the following address “chairman, district Recruitment Board (……) (name of the district for which the application applies) ”
For female candidates: Female candidates have to download application from the website www.punjabpolice.in. send the filled applications on or before17-10-2011 along with DD & other relevant doacuments to the following address ”chairman-cum-IGP Zone recruitment board for female constable 2011 ”

Starting date for submission of application: 27-09-2011.
Last date for submission of application: 17-10-2011.
