Qualification

• Candidates should have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent
• The applicant must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language.

Constable (Male): 

Candidates of all categories: 167 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm.)), 58 Weight (in kg.), 78 cms Chest (without expansion), 83 cms Chest (with expansion - 5 cms.)

Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes: 160 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm.)), 53 Weight (in kg.), 76 cms Chest (without expansion), 81 cms Chest (with expansion - 5 cms.)

Lady Constable: 

Candidates of all categories: 160 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm.)), 49 Weight (in kg.)
