OBC Recruitment 2013 – Apply Online for 77 Specialist Officer Vacancies: Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) has issued notification against recruitment of 77 Specialist Officer Vacancies in various disciplines/ streams. Candidates who have appeared for the Common Written Examination for Specialist Officer conducted by IBPS in March 2012 and have a valid Score card are eligible to apply only for HRD Officer, Hindi Officer, Law Manager Posts. Eligible candidates may apply through online mode on or before 16-02-2013. 5. Chief Manager (Risk Management) – SMGS IV: 04 Posts
6. Manager (Architect) MMGS II- 01 Post
7. Manager (Civil Engineer) – MMGS I: 01Post
8. Manager (Electrical Engineer) – MMGS II: 01 Post
9. Security Officer – JMGS I: 15 Posts
Age limit: Candidates’ age must be 30 years for post 1 & 2, 45 years for post 4 & 5, 35 years for all remaining posts as on 01-12-2011 for post 01 to 03 & 01-01-2013 for post 04 to 09. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Graduate/ PG/ Diploma in relevant field for post 1, PG Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level OR a PG Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree level Graduate Degree for post 2, LLB for post 3, Degree with ACS for post 4, MBA (Finance/ RM)/CA for post 5, Degree in Architecture for post 6, Degree in Civil Engg for post 7, Degree in Electrical Engg for post 8 and An officer with 5 years commissioned service in the Army/Navy/Air Force or a Police officer for post 9.All Educational Qualification should be from a recognized university/Institution.
IBPS Score Card (CWE) Details: Candidates who have been declared qualified in the Common Written Examination for Specialist Officers conducted by IBPS in March 2012 should have obtained the qualifying Standard Score for posts 1 to 3 only with 124 marks for General (114 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) for HRD Officer post, 96 marks for General (90 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) for Hindi Officer/ Rajbhasha Adhikari post and 121 marks for General (113 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) for Manager (Law) post can apply.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.100/- for all others & Rs.20/- for SC/ ST/ PWD/ EXSM candidates for post 1 to 3 and Rs.400/- for all others & Rs.50/- for SC/ ST/ PWD/ EXSM candidates for post 4 to 9 in the form of Challan available in the Bank’s website or by NEFT. Go to the nearest CBS Branch of the Bank with the Fee payment Challan and pay the Fee in CBS Account No. 12371171000096 with Sector 32, Gurgaon Branch in the name & style of “OBC Specialist Officer’s Recruitment Project-2012-13”.
In case of payment through NEFT: Go to the nearest branch of any Bank and pay the Fee in Account No. 12371171000096 with Sector 32, Gurgaon Branch (IFSC No. ORBC0101237) in the name & style of “OBC Specialist Officers Recruitment Project-2012-13” between 30-01-2013 to 16-02-2013.
Selection Procedure: Selections would be made on basis of Score in Specialist Officers CWE conducted by IBPS followed by Personal Interview for posts 1 to 3 and GD/ Interview/ Written Test for posts 4 to 9.
How to Apply: Candidates may apply online through the website www.obcindia.co.in on or before 16-02-2013. After submission of Online Application candidates should take print of Application Form and retain them for further use.

2. Select Recruitment Notification link to open the current notification.
3. Candidates should download the Payment Challan and pay the fee through challan or through NEFT at any bank as mentioned above.
4. Revisit Bank’s website and open the Recruitment link.
5. Select Online Application link below the notification link.
6. Fill all mandatory details in Application form along with fee payment details and submit the application
7. Take print of the system generated application form and retain it for any future assistance.
