4. District Horticulture Officer: 04 Posts
i. State Sericulture Officer
ii. Fruit Specialist
iii. Vegetable Specialist
iv. Floriculturist
v. Superintendent Horticulture

Age Limit: Age limit of candidate must be with in 17 years to 40 years for S.No 1 & 2 Posts as on 01-04-2013 and 09-05-2013 respectively; 23 years to 45 years as on 01-10-2012 for S.No 3 Post; 21 years to 40 years as on 09-05-2013 for S.No 4 Post. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
 
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess M.Sc in first division in the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Micro Biology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Environmental Sciences (with degree in Science) for S.No 1 Post; Graduation/ Commerce Graduation or its equivalent from a recognized University for S.No 2 Post; Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University/ Institutes for S.No 3 Post; B.Sc (Hons.) in Agriculture with Horticulture including Floriculture, Promiculture, Olericulture or Sericulture as one of the subject or B.Sc Horticulture or Second Class M.Sc Horticulture from a recognized University for S.No 4 Post with relevant experience and knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matric Standard.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Screening Test/ Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay the fee of Rs.500/- for General Category including Dependent son of ESM of Haryana and Rs.125/- for SC/ BC/ Ex-Servicemen of Haryana and Women in the form of Indian Postal Orders/Bank Drafts (from any branch of Scheduled Bank ofIndia) payable to the Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission at Panchkula. Persons with disabilities are exempted from the fee.

Application Form: For Application form, candidates must send IPO/ Bank Draft enclosed in self addressed (with Pin Code) envelope duly stamped with Rs.50/- by mentioning their names, address in block letters, name of the post for which application form is required and category of form either through registered post to the Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission, Bays No. 1-10, Block-B, Sector-4, Panchkula up to 02-05-2013 or on cash payment at the counter from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM and 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM on all working days till closing date.

How to Apply: Candidates must send filled in application form along with photocopies of all relevant certificates/ testimonials to the Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission, Bays No. 1-10, Block-B, Sector-4, Panchkula on or before 09-05-2013 and 17-05-2013 for applicants from remote areas.
