Total No. of Posts: 30
Name of the Post:
1. Field Officer: 05 Posts
2. Senior Clerk: 03 Posts
3. Junior Chemist: 08 Posts
4. Junior Microbiologist: 02 Posts
5. Agriculture Demonstrator: 07 Posts
6. Extension Assistant: 05 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be not more than 30 years for other posts as on 01-07-2016. Relaxation of age will be applicable to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture or M.Sc in Botany for Post No. 01, First Class Degree for Post No. 02, Degree in Chemistry for Post No. 03, Degree in Microbiology for Post No. 04, Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Botany/ Forestry for Post No. 05 & 06 from a recognized University with 1st Class (60%) or minimum 6 OGPA out of 10.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on objective test (MCQ) and/ or essay type test & practical test.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 400/- through Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Secretary, Spices Board payable at Kochi, Kerala. Application fee will be exempted to SC/ ST/ Female/Ex-servicemen/ PWD candidates

      As per the notification candiates who had Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University with first class with minimum 6 OGPA out of 10 or 60% marks & one year experience in Lab analytical procedure in quality control are eligible to apply for Junior Chemist post in Spices Board of India.
