Eligibility Criteria for ACTREC Coder Supervisor 2025

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) in any branch of Biological Sciences/Life Sciences from a recognized university
• Terminology and disease classification as per WHO-ICD-10

2. Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in mortality coding using ICD-10 or processing verbal autopsy data
• Knowledge of data flow processes in Civil Registration System
• Good health sector analytics, communication and partner coordination skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams

3. Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate work of coders engaged in mortality coding under USCD
• Conduct regular quality checking and validation of death coding data
• Support MCCD and ICD capacity building in data analysis, preparation of health staff
• Monitor review and SOP maintenance, maintain records, progress logs and development

4. Project Duration

Initial for a period of 6 months or till completion of project whichever is earlier
