Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of online application (18-06-2026). Applications from Indian citizens and OCI cardholders under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955 are permissible. Educational qualification and experience must be completed on or before the last date of online submission. AIIMS Awantipora Faculty Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages - Objective Screening/Short-listing followed by an Interview/Personality Test conducted by the AIIMS Awantipora Standing Selection Committee. The Institute uses objective criteria for short-listing. Candidates meeting age, essential educational qualifications, and experience requirements will be shortlisted in the first stage. Further screening using objective criteria will be applied where the number of valid applicants for any post exceeds ten after the first stage. Each candidate is assigned a score based on information and documents provided; top 10 scores per post (or multiples of 10 for more than one post) are called for interview. The entire interview process will be video recorded. Final selection is based on the Standing Selection Committee’s assessment at interview only - screening scores are not used for final selection.
