AIIMS Bhubaneswar Project Technical support – III & II Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• Project Technical support-III:
  • Three Years Graduate degree - BPT / BAMS / BSc Microbiology or Biotechnology + three Years post qualification clinical research experience or MSc in Public Health /Biotechnology / Human Genomics OR For MBBS/ BDS Four Years Graduate.
  • Desirable: 1 year experience in managing critical care patients/Emergency/stroke unit, 1 year clinical research experience post-qualification, experience in writing reports and scientific documents, computer knowledge in MS office / SPSS.
• Project Technical support-II:
  • 12th in Science + Diploma (MLT/ DMLT / Engineering or equivalent) + Five Years’ Experience of research activities in relevant subject including patient data collection / medical field duties OR Three Years Graduate degree in BPT / BAMS / BSc Microbiology or Biotechnology + two years’ experience or research related activities in relevant subject including patient data collection / medical field duties.
  • Desirable: 1 year clinical research experience post-qualification, experience in writing reports and data management, good computer knowledge in MS office.
• Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
• Qualifications should be from an Institution of repute.

Salary/Stipend

• Project Technical support-III: Rs 28000/- + HRA, as admissible, per month.
• Project Technical support-II: Rs 20000/- + HRA, as admissible, per month.
• Initial contract appointment will normally be for 11 months. Further continuation/extension depends on the project requirement, performance, and funding approval.
• Benefits of Provident Fund, Pension Scheme, Leave Travel Concession, Medical claim, etc. are not admissible for contract appointees.

Age Limit (as on 05-02-2026)

• Maximum Age Limit as on the date of Walk-In-Interview/Video Conferencing:
• Project Technical support-III: 35 years
• Project Technical support-II: 30 years
• Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per government rules.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/personal discussion through Walk-In-Interview/Video Conferencing Interview.
• The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the AIIMS website on 29/01/2026.
• Engagement of the applicant for a particular position will be decided by the selection committee/appointing authority.

General Information/Instructions

• The position is purely on a temporary contract appointment basis under an ICMR project.
• Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/Organizations are not eligible to apply.
• Contract service will not confer any right for further assignment or absorption in the funding agency or in the institute.
• The engagement can be terminated at any time by giving one month's notice on either side.
• Candidates must produce all original documents/certificates for verification at the time of joining the post.
• Corrigendum/addendum will be published only on the website.
