Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications:
- A post graduate Medical Degree in respective discipline from a NMC recognized University/Institute.
- For Trauma & Emergency department, applications of candidates having MD/MS/DNB in Anesthesia/ Emergency Medicine/ General Medicine/ General Surgery/ Orthopedics will be considered.
- Essential qualifications:
- NMC/MCI/State medical council Registration is mandatory before joining, if selected.
Salary/Stipend
- Emoluments: Rs 67,700/- (Level-11, Cell No. 01 As per 7th CPC) plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
Age Limit (as on 17-12-2025)
- Maximum Age: Upper age limit 45 years.
- Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC candidates. No age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
- For PwBD candidates, age relaxation up to 10 years for General Category, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST category.

- For General/EWS/OBC Category: Rs. 500/-
- For SC/ST category: Rs. 250/-
- For PwBD category: Exempted.

Selection Process
- Selection will be made on the basis of an interview conducted at AIIMS Gorakhpur.
- In case large numbers of applications are received, short listing of candidates for interview will be done based on a written test. The decision of the Executive Director is final.
- The minimum qualifying marks for the Personal Interview are 50% marks.
General Information/Instructions
- The appointment is initially for a period of 1 year, which may be extended up to 3 years depending on performance and conduct.
- The position is under the Govt. of India Residency Scheme.
- Applicants must be Indian Nationals.
- The candidate should not have completed 3 years Senior Residency in any Govt. medical institution previously.
- Candidates in Govt. service must bring a "NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE" at the time of the interview.
- The vacancies are provisional and subject to variation.
- Selected candidates are subject to being declared medically fit.
How To Apply
- Candidates must download and fill the prescribed application form (Annexure I & Bio-Data Annexure II).
- Bring the filled-in application form and Bio-Data along with all original certificates and the payment receipt on the scheduled date of the interview.
- Candidates must also bring self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents.
