Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications (Essential):
- Three-year graduate degree in Life Science subjects /Medical Lab Technology/ Biotechnology.
- OR M.Sc/M.Tech in Life sciences /Biological sciences/ Biotechnology / Medical Lab Technology (from pure Govt/ Govt. recognized, reputed Institute/university).
- Experience (Essential):
- Three years of post-qualification experience in relevant subject (if applying with a graduate degree).
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Work experience in hospital set up, medical laboratories or biomedical research.
- Fluency in Assamese, English & Hindi.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Salary/Stipend
- Monthly consolidated Emoluments: Rs 28,000/- + 20% HRA = Rs. 33,600/- (per month) approx.
- Salary unit: Per month.

Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their application and documents.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email regarding the interview/written test details (online/offline).
- Selection will be based on performance in the interview/written test.
- Candidates must bring all supporting original documents for verification at the time of the interview.
- The decision of the selection committee, further to approval of Executive Director, AIIMS Guwahati, will be final.
General Information/Instructions
- The position is purely on a contract basis for an extramural research project funded by ICMR-NIRDHDS, New Delhi.
- Initial appointment is for six months, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance reviews, up to the duration of the project (approximately three years).
- This appointment does not vest any right to claim for regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Guwahati.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Selected candidates must join within 10 days of the offer of appointment.
- No hostel or accommodation will be provided by the Institute.
