- Purely contractual appointment for one year, renewable up to 4 years maximum or till project completion
- Contract automatically expires on completion of 4 years or earlier if funding agency withdraws support
- Contract can be terminated by either side by giving 30 days notice or salary in lieu
- No right to claim regular appointment, permanent absorption, or continued contractual appointment after contract ends
- Full-time position - private practice of any type is strictly prohibited
- Leave entitlement as per ICMR/AIIMS Kalyani policy
- No hostel or other accommodation will be provided by the institute
- Interview at AIIMS Kalyani - No TA/DA will be paid
- Selected candidates will be employed under ICMR Project, NOT directly under AIIMS Kalyani
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification
- Candidates must ensure eligibility as per prescribed qualifications
- False declaration or willful suppression of information will result in removal from service
- Appointment is full-time and must conform to institute rules of conduct and discipline
- All disputes subject to jurisdiction of Kolkata court
