Eligibility Criteria

• 12th in Science with Diploma in MLT/ DMLT and five years’ experience in relevant subject or field.
• OR three years graduate degree in Science (public health, medical social work, nursing, MLT, sociology, psychology, pharmacology, nutrition and dietetics, biochemistry, microbiology, allied health sciences, chemistry, physics, statistics) with two years’ experience in relevant subject.
• OR postgraduation in the above-mentioned fields.
• Desirable: Previous experience in similar field, community-based projects, or health system related research projects.
• Desirable: Ability to speak, read, and write in Tamil.
• All educational qualifications/certificates must be from recognized boards or universities.
• Experience should preferably be from government organizations and counted after the date of minimum essential qualification in the relevant field.

Age Limit (as on 19-12-2025)

• Maximum age limit: 30 years.
• The crucial date for calculation of age limit and experience is the last date of online submission of application (19 December 2025).

Salary/Stipend

• Remuneration: Rs. 20,000 per month.
• HRA: 20% of remuneration, making total Rs. 24,000 per month.
• Emoluments are project-specific and may vary according to the sanction of the funding agency.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting of candidates as per eligibility criteria for assessment and interview.
• Preliminary assessment including a written exam and hands-on exercise.
• Candidates shortlisted in the assessment will be called for interview.
• Selection based on grading in experience in research work/relevant field-based project, written exam and hands-on exercise, and interview.
• Email communication for final date of assessment and interview will be sent only to shortlisted candidates.
• The decision of the selection committee and Principal Investigator will be final; AIIMS Madurai reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process.
