General Information / Instructions
Functions:
- To engage in Research.
- To design and execute short term capacity building programme for teachers in higher education focussed towards the designated discipline of the chair.
- To publish articles/research papers/reports, books and monographs.
- To participate in teaching and Ph.D programme of the Department or School in which the chair is located.
Logistic Support: Books and Journals Rs. 40,000 per annum maximum 2 Lakh for five years.
Travel grant of Rs. 1,00,000 per annum
Contingency Rs. 1,20,000/- per annum
Organization of workshop/ conference seminar Rs. 2,00,000 per annum
Appointment of Staff:
- Chair Research Fellow: with minimum qualification Ph.D (in the area of study for the Chair) Rs. 35, 000/- per month of the tenure of the Chair.
- Secretarial Assistant: Rs 1,80,000/- p.a. (to be outsourced only)

- The chair is proposed for a period of five years.
