Appointments will be made on a purely temporary basis subject to termination at any time without notice or assignment of reason.

The non-refundable Processing Fee is to be paid only in the Online Mode at the Careers Portal.

Selection Process

Selection will be made through a Local Selection Committee interview held in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, AMU, Aligarh. Candidates are required to report with all original documents in the office of the Dean half an hour before the scheduled time of the L.S.C.

Candidates who will apply for the post of Assistant Professor are required to bring 01 presentation on the topic of their area of interest on their concerned subject in soft copy (pen drive) for presentation at the time of interview.

How to Apply for AMU Recruitment

1. Visit the Careers Portal of the University at careers.amuonline.ac.in.
2. Fill out the Application Form in the Online Mode.
3. Pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- online (PwD candidates are exempted upon uploading an authentic Disability Certificate).
4. Take a printout of the PDF file of the Application Form on A-4 Size paper after successful submission.
5. Append your signature and paste a front-facing recent photograph at the designated place on the Application Form.
6. Attach self-attested copies of all relevant documents and certificates.
7. Super-scribe on the top-left side of the cover the post applied for, advertisement number and its date, and submit or send the Application Form to the Office of the Dean, J. N. Medical College, Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh-202002 on or before 21.10.2026 (04:00 P.M.).

AMU Important Instructions

• Separate Application Forms must be filled for each post detailed under a different Serial Number of the advertisement.
• Hard copies will not be received after 21.10.2026 (04:00 P.M.), and the university is not responsible for postal delays.
• No separate Notice/Interview letter will be issued to candidates; interviews will take place on 31.10.2026 as per the notified schedule.
• Candidates must bring originals of all documents for verification at the time of interview, failing which they will not be allowed to appear.
• Incomplete Application Forms or applications on plain paper will not be entertained and will be summarily rejected.
• The request for including any document(s)/information in the Application Form after the last date of submission shall not be entertained.
• The University reserves the right to alter, insert, make corrections, or cancel the advertisement in full or part without assigning any reason.
• The University reserves the right to restrict applicants to be called for interview based on rules/criteria.
