Educational Qualification (Mandatory): Should have passed Senior Secondary Examination (XIIth Standard) from a recognised Board/institution. Must have passed ANM Certificate Course with valid ANM training certificate from a recognised institute.
Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian National.
Reservation Notes: Only Local Scheduled Tribe candidates covered under the Constitution (A & N Islands) Scheduled Tribe Order 1959 are eligible for ST quota. Only Local Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates covered under specific A & N Gazette Notifications are eligible for OBC quota. Andaman & Nicobar Health Department ANM Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection for Andaman & Nicobar ANM Recruitment 2026 will be based on the following:
Computer Based Test (CBT): The selection will be done by conducting Computer Based Test. The CBT will consist of 80% Professional/technical subject related questions, 10% General Awareness and 10% General Science. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Document Verification: All successful candidates shortlisted through the CBT will be called for Document/Certificate verification in person. Final selection will be made on the basis of merit in the CBT subject to verification of all mandatory original certificates/testimonials.
