Eligibility Criteria
- Master's degree in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry or Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science or an equivalent discipline.
- Desirable: Working experience in soil science domain such as soil, plant, water analysis or related work.
- Engagement is under the National Soil Mapping Project (NSMP) for field work and laboratory analysis work on contractual and temporary basis.
Salary/Stipend
- Emoluments: Rs. 42,000 per month (fixed, consolidated) for Young Professional-II (YP-II).
- Engagement is purely contractual and temporary under the National Soil Mapping Project (NSMP).

Selection Process
- Walk-in interview for engagement of manpower under National Soil Mapping Project (NSMP).
- Positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- Other terms and conditions as per guidelines and regulations of the university and funding agency.

- Desirous and eligible candidates must prepare a Bio-data containing name, father’s name, permanent and postal address, date of birth, academic qualifications, and experience details.
- Submit the Bio-data to the office of the Director Research, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour.
- Personally appear in the walk-in interview on the scheduled date with all original documents.
Instructions
- Engagement is on contractual/term basis; selected candidate must work full time in the project for at least 6 months from date of joining. Further extension may be allowed based on satisfactory performance.
- After project expiry, service will automatically terminate without notice and there is no right to further absorption or re-engagement.
- The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project duration.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- All other terms and conditions will follow the university and funding agency guidelines.
