Eligibility Criteria
- Only permanent employees of BCCL HQ who possess the minimum prescribed qualification as on 30.09.2025 are eligible to apply.
- Assistant Foreman/Chargeman (Trainee Engineering – Electrical or Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (minimum 3 years course).
- Helper Trainee (Category-I, Telecom Personnel): VIII Standard pass.
- Trainees are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates in a higher post/grade applying for a lower notified post must submit an undertaking that they are ready to accept lower post/grade if selected; basic pay will be protected.
- Candidate must have at least “GOOD” CR rating for the completed year of service; for those with more than 3 years of service, “GOOD” CR for last 3 years is required.
- Vigilance/Departmental clearance must be “Clear”.
- Educational certificates must be from institutes/schools recognized by Government and are subject to verification.
- Reservation quota for SC/ST & PwD candidates will be as per Government norms/guidelines.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting of eligible departmental candidates based on minimum qualification and service/CR/vigilance criteria.
- Calling eligible applicants for trade/selection test on date and venue decided by NEE Dept., HQ.
- Preparation of panel based on marks obtained in trade/selection test.
