Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: The applicant must possess MBBS degree with a Post Graduate Degree in Paediatrics or PG diploma in Paediatrics (for Sr. Consultant - Paediatrics) OR MBBS degree with a Post Graduate Degree in Orthopaedics or PG diploma in Orthopaedics (for Sr. Consultant - Orthopaedics).
- Experience: Minimum 25 years post attaining Post Graduation degree/Diploma in PSUs/Autonomous Organizations/Central/State Government/Statutory Bodies (Essential for both specializations). Desirable: Experience of Respiratory Disease/Pulmonology Medicine & Asthma along with Paediatrics will be preferred (for Paediatrics).
- Any retired executives (BHEL equivalent grade of E8 level for Sr. Consultant) from PSUs/Autonomous Organizations/Central/State Government/Statutory Bodies.
Salary/ Stipend
- Consolidated Consultancy fee of Rs 1,13,000/- (Rupees One Lac and Thirteen Thousand only) per month.
- In addition, mobile phone charges (Up to Rs 2000) for one connection.
- House Rent Allowance as per applicable rates.
- Transport allowance at 10% of consultancy fee.
- Eligible for TA/DA on official tours, as per rules.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)
- The applicant should not be more than 64 years.
- Applicants retired under VRS Scheme shall be considered only after attaining 60 years of age.
- Exception for Ex-Servicemen for the lower age; however duration of engagement for Ex-Servicemen shall be 05 years or till 65 years of age, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process
- The applications received against the notification will be scrutinized by a committee.
- The shortlisted candidates may be then called for an interaction, if required, by a duly constituted Selection Board.
- The outside candidates called for the interaction shall be reimbursed the travel expenses: By Rail - AC-First Class or By Air - Economy Class Air fare or By Road - Actuals, limited to train fare.
