Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should hold any of the following degrees: M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular and Human Genetics, or Life Science.
- Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) or equivalent degree with high academic attainment, with 1st class in both Graduate and Post Graduate examinations.
- Candidates with higher qualifications than the minimum prescribed may also apply.
- The candidate should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh and must attach a valid U.P. domicile certificate.
- Desirable skills include experience with pathogens, molecular biology techniques, proteomics, genomics, and willingness to do a full-time Ph.D.
- Candidates with desirable experience and valid NET/GATE certificates may be given preference.
Age Limit (as on date of appointment)
- Maximum Age: 28 years or less on the date of appointment.
- Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules for reserved category candidates.
Salary/Stipend
- Fellowship/monthly compensation is Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated).
- The position is for a research project funded by Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh (CSTUP).
Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit and the needs of the project; mere possession of prescribed qualifications does not guarantee an interview call.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail about the interview schedule.
- Shortlisted candidates must appear physically for the interview with updated CV and original plus self-attested photocopies of mark sheets/certificates; online interview can be considered with proper justification.
- The university reserves the right to accept or reject applications at any time during the project tenure.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

Instructions
