Shift-Wise Document Verification Timing

Documents Required for BPSC Document Verification

  2. Birth certificate / Matriculation certificate as proof of date of birth (name, DOB, and father's name must match; no self-declared corrections are accepted)
  3. Original degree certificate of graduation from a recognized university
  4. Original mark sheet of graduation from a recognized university
  5. Experience certificate for contractually employed candidates, if claiming age relaxation / weightage in marks on the basis of work experience
  6. Creamy-layer-exclusion certificate for Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class candidates (for female candidates, issued using father's name and address)
  7. Non-creamy-layer certificate for Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class candidates (must not be more than 1 year old from the date of the notice)
  8. Caste certificate and permanent residence certificate for SC/ST candidates (for female candidates, issued using father's name and address)
  9. Permanent residence certificate for destitute/widowed female candidates of Bihar claiming fee concession (issued using father's name and address)
  10. Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate issued by the competent authority as per Bihar Government notification No. 2622, dated 26.02.2019
  11. Valid disability certificate from the competent authority (for candidates claiming disability-based benefits)
  12. Experience certificate from the controlling officer, for regularly/contractually employed candidates claiming age relaxation on grounds of years of service
  13. Certificate for candidates claiming age-limit relaxation as regular Bihar Government employees who have completed 3 years of continuous service
  14. Certificate for ex-servicemen claiming age-limit relaxation
  15. Certificate from the concerned District Officer, or an officer authorized by them, for candidates claiming benefit as grandchildren of freedom fighters
  16. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer, for candidates already employed under the Central Government, Bihar Government, or any other State Government
  17. Photo identity proof, as declared in the online application
  18. Two recent passport-size photographs

What Candidates Should Note Before Attending DV

  • No separate admit card will be issued for document verification. Candidates must bring the e-admit card of the Main (Objective) examination to be allowed into the DV.
  • Only original certificates presented at the time of verification will be considered valid; requests to submit documents later will not be accepted, and the Commission is free to take a suitable decision in such cases.
  • Eligibility-related claims (age, educational qualification, caste/category, age relaxation, disability, etc.) must be supported by original documents on the day of verification. If original proof is not produced, the Commission is free to take an appropriate decision, including rejecting the candidature.
  • Only qualification-related documents that were declared in the candidate's original online application will be accepted; documents for claims not made online will not be entertained.
  • Mobile phones and any electronic gadgets, such as Bluetooth devices, Wi-Fi devices, or electronic pens, are strictly prohibited inside the Commission's premises during DV.
  • Parents, friends, or other companions of candidates are not allowed entry into the Commission's premises during document verification.
  • No travel allowance (TA/DA) will be paid to candidates for attending document verification.
  • For candidates claiming reserved category benefits (SC/ST/BC/EBC), the caste certificate and permanent residence certificate must be issued by a competent authority notified for their state of permanent residence; otherwise, reservation benefits will not be given.
  • For married women candidates claiming reservation benefits, the caste/non-creamy-layer/residence certificate must be in the name and address of the father, not the husband.
