Candidates must carry the original certificates along with one self-attested photocopy of each of the following, as applicable to their case:

1. Application & Identity Documents

• Hard copy of the filled and downloaded online application form
• A photo-bearing identity proof mentioned in the online application such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, Driving Licence, or Voter ID Card (original + one self-attested photocopy)
• Two recent passport-size photographs

2. Age and Educational Documents

• Matriculation certificate as proof of date of birth
• Matriculation mark sheet
• Intermediate/Diploma certificate
• Intermediate/Diploma mark sheet
• Mark sheets for all subjects/semesters of a degree in Mechanical, Production, Power Plant, or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent institution
• Degree certificate in the above discipline from a recognised university or equivalent institution

3. Experience-Related Documents (as per Clause 3 of the advertisement)

• Two years' technical experience certificate related to design, construction, erection, operation, examination, repair, maintenance or inspection of boilers, or implementation of the Boiler Act, 1923 and rules/regulations made thereunder. For private institutions, this must be issued by the employer; for public sector/government/central government institutions, it must be issued by an official authorised by the government.
• All appointment letters supporting the claimed two years of technical experience, along with the salary slip for the month of joining (or either of the next two months) for each post held

4. Character and Reference Certificates

• Character and conduct certificate issued by the head of the college/institution where the candidate last studied
• A certificate giving the names of two referees who are personally acquainted with the candidate and are not relatives

5. Category, Reservation and Age-Relaxation Certificates (as applicable)

• Non-creamy layer certificate for Extremely Backward Class candidates (for women candidates, issued in the father's name and address)
• Caste and permanent residence certificate for Scheduled Caste candidates (for women candidates, issued in the father's name and address)
• Certificate from a competent authority for age-limit relaxation claimed by Bihar government employees
• Relevant certificate for age-limit relaxation claimed by ex-servicemen

6. No Objection Certificate (if applicable)

• NOC from the competent authority for candidates already employed under the Central Government, Bihar Government, or any other state government, permitting them to appear in the examination

2. Go to the candidate login portal: bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login
3. Log in to your account using your credentials
4. Open "My Account" and click the "View" button
5. Click "Documents Verification Letter" and download it

Important Instructions for BPSC Boiler Inspector Document Verification

• All candidates are informed that their applications were provisionally accepted online purely on the basis of self-declared educational qualifications, experience, and reservation claims; eligibility is not confirmed merely by being called for document verification.
• Candidates whose facts/evidence are found false or incorrect during verification will have their application/candidature rejected, and the Commission's decision on this will be final with no right of appeal.
• Only qualification-related certificates dated on or before 03.02.2026 (the last date for online application) will be accepted; certificates issued after this date will not be considered valid.
• Only those certificates that the candidate has already mentioned in their original online application form will be considered valid at the time of verification.
• Candidates must bring, along with the document verification letter, a summary of the application form (Format-I), duly filled, on the day of verification.
• Candidates must reach the Commission office before their scheduled reporting time on the verification date.
• Mobile phones and any electronic gadgets such as Bluetooth devices and electronic pens are strictly prohibited inside the Commission premises during document verification.
