BPSSC PET Admit Card 2026 Out for SI, Havildar Clerk Posts - Download Link, Exam Date, Documents

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC), Patna has issued an important notice for candidates who qualified in the written examination under Advertisement No. 05/2025 (Police Sub-Inspector), 01/2026 (Sachivalaya Sahayak / Adhinayak Lipik general candidates), and 02/2026 (Sachivalaya Sahayak / Adhinayak Lipik Home Guard candidates, including daily duty allowance-receiving players). The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and record/document verification for these candidates will be held in Patna during September/October 2026. The PET admit card will be available on the official website from 8 September 2026.

How to Download BPSSC PET Admit Card 2026

Candidates must download their admit card from the correct tab based on their advertisement number:

• Advertisement No. 05/2025 (Police Sub-Inspector) candidates: download from the "Bihar Police" tab.
• Advertisement No. 01/2026 and 02/2026 (Sachivalaya Sahayak / Adhinayak Lipik, including Home Guard candidates): download from the "Homeguard" tab.

1. Visit the official BPSSC website: https://bpssc.bihar.gov.in.
2. Click on the "Bihar Police" tab (Advt 05/2025) or the "Homeguard" tab (Advt 01/2026 & 02/2026), as applicable.
3. Find and click the PET admit card download link for your advertisement number.
4. Enter the login details asked (as per the website's requirement) and download the e-admit card.
5. Take a printout for the exam day.

Documents Required at the PET / Document Verification

All candidates must appear at the specified time with their admit card and a photocopy of the online application receipt, along with the following original certificates plus one set of photocopies of each:

• Valid photo identity card Voter ID, Driving Licence, Aadhaar Card, etc.
• Educational qualification certificate: Intermediate (or equivalent) pass certificate for Advt 01/2026 & 02/2026 candidates; Graduate (or equivalent) pass certificate for Advt 05/2025 candidates.
• Date of birth certificate (original Matriculation certificate).
• Caste certificate issued by a competent authority for SC, ST, EBC, and BC category candidates. For married/unmarried women candidates, the caste certificate is valid only if issued on the basis of the father.
• Non-creamy layer certificate for BC and EBC category candidates. For married/unmarried women candidates, valid only if issued on the basis of the father.
• Bihar state permanent resident (domicile) certificate for all reserved category candidates.
• Bihar EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate, if applicable based on income and assets for financial year 2024–2025, in the format prescribed under Bihar Government General Administration Department Notification No. 2622 dated 26 February 2019 (Gazette No. 284).
• Original certificate of being a grandson/granddaughter of a Bihar state freedom fighter, if applicable as per the format prescribed in letter no. 11687 dated 30 August 2016.
• Certificate of being a Bihar Government employee, if applicable regular government servants who have completed a minimum of three years of service by the cut-off date mentioned in the advertisement must bring a certificate issued by their controlling officer.
• Ex-servicemen candidates must bring their PPO (Pension Payment Order) and discharge book.
• Third gender (Kinnar/Kothi/Hijra/Transgender) candidates must submit a Bihar domicile certificate and a certificate issued by the competent authority confirming transgender status.
• Home Guard organisation members (men, women, and third gender) enrolled and trained, with a minimum of 5 years of service/duty in the organisation, must bring a Bihar Home Guard status certificate and a valid Home Guard identity card applicable only to Advertisement No. 02/2026 candidates.

Important Instructions for BPSSC PET 2026 Candidates

• It is mandatory for every candidate to appear in the PET on the specified date. Failure to appear will make the candidate ineligible, and no second opportunity will be given.
• Successful candidates must also undergo document/record verification; this is compulsory.
• No request for extension of the PET date or verification date will be accepted under any circumstances.
• Candidates must fully comply with all terms and conditions mentioned in the respective advertisements (05/2025, 01/2026, and 02/2026) at every stage of the selection process.
