Who Can Apply
Essential Qualification: Master's Degree in Biotechnology/ Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ or equivalent from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification: Candidates with hands-on experience in microbial cultivation, fermentation techniques, microbial enzyme assays, purification, and characterization will be preferred.
Fellowship Criteria (National Level Examination): Scholars selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests—CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or (b) A selection process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions are eligible for higher consolidated pay.
Pay and Tenure
The selected candidates will receive a consolidated fellowship of ₹31,000/- + 8% HRA per month if selected through national-level examinations like CSIR-UGC NET or GATE. Other candidates who do not fall under this category will receive Rs. 25,000/- + 8% HRA per month. The position is purely temporary, co-terminus with the project, and lasts for three years or until the project's completion, whichever is earlier.
