BSEB registration for the 2027 board exam cycle is conducted only through the head of the respective school or college, not by students directly. Earlier in the cycle, BSEB ran a special left-out registration window for Matric and Inter candidates from July 13 to July 22, 2026, and released the dummy registration card for Class 10 on July 25, 2026, with a correction window open till August 14, 2026. Class 11 students for the Inter 2027 exam had earlier registered between September 12 and September 24, 2025. Official BSEB 2027 exam dates have not yet been announced.

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Process
- The school or college head logs in to the official BSEB registration portal, biharboardonline.org.
- The head downloads the registration form/list and distributes it to eligible students for completion.
- Students fill in personal and academic details and submit the form along with photographs, signature, and required documents to the school.
- The school verifies each student's details against school records.
- The school head completes the online registration for each verified student, including payment of the registration fee (and late fee, if applicable) through the portal.
- A pre-filled declaration form is generated after submission. This must be checked for accuracy, signed by the student, signed by the parent or guardian, and countersigned by the head of the institution.
- The signed declaration form is uploaded back on the BSEB portal to complete the registration process.
- Once processed, BSEB issues a dummy registration card, which students should review carefully for errors.
Important Instructions
- Students cannot register themselves directly; only the school or college head has portal access to submit applications.
- Registration without the signed declaration form is treated as incomplete and will not be processed.
- Blurred or low-resolution photographs and signatures can lead to rejection or suspension of the registration during verification.
- Applications and fee payments submitted after the notified deadline (even with late fee) will not be accepted once the window closes.
- Always check the dummy registration card carefully and get any errors corrected within the correction window, since these details are later used for admit cards and certificates.
