Project Title: Screening of neurochemical, amyloid precursor protein (APP) and mitochondrial Calcium Uniporter (MCU) in Down’s Syndrome associated with Alzheimer’s disease – A potential therapeutic strategy
Funding Agency: DST-CSRI, New Delhi
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Zoology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Human Genetics/Molecular Biology) with minimum 55% marks OR M.Sc. with PhD in Zoology/Life Sciences.
- Desirable: Experience in cell culture, molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA isolation, RT-PCR, IHC, Western blotting), SCI-indexed publication, manuscript preparation, good communication skills.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years research experience with at least one SCI paper.
- Age Limit: Upto 32 years as on interview date (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PwD/Female, 3 years for OBC-NCL).
Salary/Stipend
- ₹35,000 per month + HRA (as per University norms)
- Duration: Initially 6 months, extendable based on performance and fund availability
