Educational Qualification: The applicant must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech) from a recognized university or institution in India. Postgraduate qualification (M.E/M.Tech) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or Infrastructure Engineering is considered desirable.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 20 years of professional experience in civil engineering works in India, preferably in Central Government Departments, State Government Departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Autonomous bodies, or Government-funded institutions/authorities.
Relevant Technical Experience: Demonstrated experience in project planning and design, preparation and review of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), preparation of cost estimates, BOQ, and technical specifications, supervision and monitoring of construction activities, and conducting site inspections and technical evaluations.
Senior Level Position Experience: Must have held senior engineering or managerial positions during their service career or undertaken works/rendered consultancy of the nature mentioned for at least 5 projects of value Rs. 10 Crore and above, preferably for government departments/PSUs (such as Superintending Engineer, Executive Engineer, General Manager (Civil) in PSU, Additional General Manager (Civil) in PSU).
Age Limit: The consultant should not be more than 64 years of age as on the last date of application i.e. 30-10-2026. Must be medically fit and capable of undertaking field visits and technical inspections.
Other Conditions: Must have retired from government service or PSU with a clean and satisfactory service record. No vigilance, disciplinary, or criminal case or investigation should be pending. The individual or their firm must not be blacklisted by any government department/entity.
