Age Relaxation Category Relaxation SC / ST / PwBD / Women 05 years OBC 03 years CSIR IICB Salary Name of the Position Remuneration per month Project Associate-I (a) Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA per month (with CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET incl. lectureship / assistant professorship OR GATE those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions.(b) Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA for those who do not fall under (a) above. Senior Project Associate ₹42,000/- Plus 30% HRA Project Scientist-I ₹56,000/- p.m plus 30% HRA (Increment of 5% for every 2 years of experience in the same project) Selection Process Selection will be based on a Walk-in-Interview conducted at CSIR-IICB, Jadavpur campus, Kolkata. The tenure of engagement is co-terminus with the project and under no circumstances shall exceed six years across all CSIR labs. Candidates who are in the final semester or whose results are awaited are not eligible for the positions. Age and qualifications will be reckoned as on the date of interview.
