- Such engagement does not provide any right or claim for regularization to a permanent CSIR post.
- Engagement may be terminated with one month's notice from either side, or one month's emoluments in lieu of notice.
- Currently employed candidates must furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer while applying online, and/or produce the original at the time of interview.
- Candidates pursuing a Ph.D. (including AcSIR Ph.D.) may apply only if their research domain aligns with the project's research area, and must have prior permission/NOC from their Director/Competent Authority.
- Unless otherwise mentioned, equivalent or higher degrees will not be considered as meeting the essential qualification for any position.
- Women project personnel are eligible for 180 days of maternity leave, and male project personnel for 15 days of paternity leave (for up to two surviving children), per CSIR norms. Stipend for this leave period is paid only after rejoining and submitting relevant medical documents.
- Project personnel are entitled to 12 days of leave per year (1 day per month); leave beyond this is without emoluments, calculated pro-rata.
- Initial engagement is for one year or the duration of the project, whichever is earlier, and may be extended or curtailed based on project duration and candidate performance.
- Original documents will be verified at the time of joining; candidature is provisional until verification is complete.
- Any attempt to seek support through illegal gratification, pressure, or malpractice during the selection process will lead to disqualification.
- CSIR-IMMT reserves the right not to fill any position(s), and the number of positions/duration of engagement may increase or decrease as per Institute requirements. The Director's decision is final, and no interim enquiries will be entertained.
