Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: BE/B. Tech (Mechanical/Aeronautical or equivalent)
- Experience: plus 2 years of experience. Experience on CATIA and AUTOCAD/Draft Sight in aerospace domain. Preferably jig design and development background.
Salary/ Stipend
- 36,400 (Consolidated) per month
Age Limit (as on 09-02-2026)
- Upper age limit is 30 years.

Selection Process
- The contract engineers will be selected on the basis of performance in "Walk-in-Interview".
General Information/ Instructions
- The above position is purely temporary on Contract basis. Candidates engaged in this position will not have any right implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization / absorption against any CSIR-NAL post(s).
- Termination of Service: The engagement may be terminated at any time by CSIR-NAL without assigning any reasons by giving a notice of 30 days. In case, the candidate desires to leave the contract, he/she has to serve the notice period of one month which can be curtailed/extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
- The date for determining age/qualification and experience shall be the date of the walk in interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the walk-in interview or for joining, if selected.
- Confidentiality of data, information and documents: The information, data and documents related to the work shall remain confidential. No one shall utilize or publish or disclose to a third party, any part of the data or statistics or proceedings or information collected for the purpose of this assignment or during the course of assignment for the office, without the express written consent of the office. The contract engineers are bound to hand over the entire set of records to the office before the expiry of the contract.
- Conflict of Interest: The contract engineers shall not represent or give opinion or advice to others in any matter which is averse to the interest of CSIR-NAL.
- Canvassing in any form and/or bringing any political influence or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the above position.
- The engagement of contract engineers is subject to the terms and conditions issued by CSIR-NAL in this regard from time to time. For all intent and purposes, the services of the contract engineers will be under administrative control of the Director, CSIR-NAL.
- The decision of the Director, CSIR-NAL in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications and mode of selection will be final and binding on the candidates.
- The duration of engagement may be extended on need basis.
- Upper age limit is 30 years.

- Interested and eligible candidates should report at 09:00 AM on 09.02.2026 (Monday) in RAB Meeting Complex, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories, P.B.No.1779, HAL Airport Road, Kodihalli, Bengaluru — 560 017 (Karnataka) along with duly filled in application in the prescribed format (appended) and submit the same at the time of Interview.
- Self-attested photocopies of all certificates in support of age, educational qualification, experience etc. along with the original certificates must be brought for verification at the time of walk-in-interview.
- Candidates reaching after 10:00 AM will not be entertained.
