CSIR-NAL MTS Qualification
The essential qualification for the MTS post is SSC/10th Standard from a recognised Board or Institution. The prescribed qualifications are the minimum requirement; mere possession of the qualification does not entitle a candidate to be called for the written examination.
CSIR-NAL MTS Age Limit
Applicants must have attained 18 years of age and must not have exceeded the upper age limit of 25 years (for UR candidates) as on the last date prescribed for receipt of hard-copy applications.

CSIR-NAL MTS Salary
The MTS post carries Pay Level-01 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission, with a pay range of ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 per month. In addition to pay, selected candidates are entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), National Pension System (NPS), medical facilities/reimbursement, Leave Travel Concession (LTC), Children Education Allowance (CEA), and other benefits admissible under CSIR/Government of India rules.
CSIR-NAL MTS Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of ₹500/- is payable only through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of "The Director, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories," payable at Bengaluru. The candidate's name and father's name must be written on the back of the DD. No other mode of payment is accepted.

CSIR-NAL MTS Selection Process
Selection is through an OMR-based Objective Type Multiple Choice Competitive Written Examination, conducted only in Bengaluru. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as screened by the Screening-cum-Selection Committee will be called for the exam, and a merit list will be prepared based on exam performance.

Each correct answer carries 3 marks. In case of a tie in the merit list, it will be resolved in order by: fewer negative marks, older date of birth, earlier acquisition of the essential qualification, and finally alphabetical order of first names.

- School Leaving Certificate showing name and date of birth, if not shown in the SSLC/Matriculation certificate
- Self-attested copy of a valid Government-issued photo ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport, Driving Licence, etc.)
