The CSIR-NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING RESEARCH INSTITUTE (CSIR-NEERI) has issued an advertisement for a Project Associate-II Recruitment 2025 position at its Mumbai Zonal Centre. A total of 01 vacancy is available for eligible Indian candidates on a purely temporary basis under the project: "Role of Mumbai’s urban transportation sector interventions in delivering sustainable development goals: making resilient city". Aspirants are required to attend a walk-in interview on 23/12/2025.

The essential qualifications require a B.E/B.Tech in Civil or Environmental Engineering with two years of R&D experience, or an M.E./M.Tech in Transport/Environmental Engineering. Successful candidates will receive a monthly emolument ranging from Rs. 28,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- plus HRA, depending on their qualifications (NET/GATE). The selection process is a walk-in interview where applicants must bring a filled application form and all original documents to the Mumbai Zonal Centre between 9:30 am and 11:00 am on the interview date.

Salary Monthly Emoluments Rs. 35,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET lectureship / Assistant professorship or GATE OR Those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and / or their Agencies / Institutions. 28,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above
