B.E./B.Tech. (Civil/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Environmental Engg.) OR M.Sc. (Environmental Science/ Analytical Chemistry) from a recognized university
Salary/ Stipend
(a) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET lectureship / Assistant professorship or GATE OR Those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and / or their Agencies / Institutions.
(b) 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above

Upper Age Limit: 35 years

Selection Process
Selection will be done on the basis of Walk-in-Interview at CSIR-NEERI, Mumbai Zonal Centre.

The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned projects.
The engagement in these projects will not confer any right implicit or explicit on the candidate for considering regularization against any CSIR/CSIR - NEERI post(s).
Upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of applications.
Only those candidates who have acquired the essential qualification & result has been declared (should have at least provisional certificate) are eligible to apply for a particular position.
Result awaited /Final semester appeared or Ph. D submitted candidates are not eligible to apply for the position where such minimum essential qualification requirement is mandatory.
No TA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
Other terms & conditions will be governed as per guidelines issued by the funding agency/ CSIR-NEERI for the engagement of the Project Staff as amended from time to time.

Interested candidates should appear for Walk-in-Interview on 20 January 2026 at CSIR-NEERI Mumbai Zonal Centre, Worli, Mumbai.
Reporting Time: 9:30 am to 11:00 am (Gate will be closed by 11:00 am).
Candidates shall bring a passport-size photo, Aadhaar card, 10th (SSC), 12th (HSC), Graduate marksheets, Degree, Graduate mark sheets (one set photocopy and original) along with filled application form attached with this advertisement.
